Hutchinson invests US$1 bln in Indonesian telecom operations
Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - PT Hutchinson CP Telecom Indonesia, as operator 3 (Three), has invested US$1 billion (Rp 9.1 trillion) in the development of its telecommunications facilities in Indonesia.
Marketing director of Hutchinson Suresh Reddy said Tuesday that Indonesia is an important market for the company, especially now that its population reaches over 200 million, and it plans to become biggest operator in Indonesia next year.
The company's subscriber base numbers 2.3 million and it operates 6,000 base transceiver stations in the archipelagic state.
