Hutama Karya's Mozy App Gets Smarter with Contactless Toll Payment and Driver Rest Reminders
State-owned construction company PT Hutama Karya (Persero) is continuing to expand the digital transformation of its toll road management through its Mozy application. The firm recently introduced a range of new features to the public.
Director of Operations III at Hutama Karya, Iwan Hermawan, stated that the initiative is a way for the company to introduce digital toll road services in a more engaging and accessible manner. “Mozy is not just a travel support application, but also part of Hutama Karya’s service transformation to make it more accessible, informative, and relevant to the needs of road users,” Iwan said on Wednesday.
The new features were launched during the Mozy Fun Run & Activation event at the Car Free Day area in Sudirman, Jakarta, which was also attended by executives of the state-owned construction firm.
During the event, Hutama Karya introduced several new Mozy features, namely MoNgeGame, MozyTru, and Reminder Notification. MoNgeGame is a toll road-themed game designed to provide an interactive and educational experience for users. MozyTru is a contactless toll payment feature that will be trialled as part of the development of more practical and modern transaction services.
Meanwhile, the Reminder Notification is an enhancement of the Customer Journey feature, a trip planning tool on the toll road that not only helps users view directions like a digital map but also provides supporting information during the journey, such as traffic conditions, roadworks or repairs, and reminders to take a break. The presence of this reminder is expected to help road users anticipate drowsiness or fatigue while driving, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
Enthusiasm was also evident through a challenge to complete the newly launched level 1 of the Mozy game. This activation served as a way for Hutama Karya to introduce the new Mozy features in a fun and easy-to-understand manner to the public, especially the younger generation and the running community present at the Car Free Day area.
In addition to introducing new features, the event also marked the launch of Mozy’s new jingle and mascot named Kawanmo. The presence of this jingle and mascot is expected to strengthen Mozy’s identity, making it more relatable, memorable, and familiar to the public, particularly users of Hutama Karya toll roads.
