Hutama Karya Takes Two Steps to Strengthen Its Position as Toll Road Operator
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) held the launch of its Command Centre and the rebranding of its toll road management app on Wednesday (22/4). The company introduced a new identity for its toll road management app ecosystem while inaugurating the updated command centre. Hutama Karya officially unveiled the new name for its app, previously known as HK Toll Apps, now Mozy. This name combines “move” and “easily”, representing an app designed to support mobility in a more practical, comfortable, and easy-to-use manner anytime and anywhere. This rebranding is part of the development of a more modern, integrated digital ecosystem with stronger user engagement. In addition to the main name Mozy, Hutama Karya introduced derivative identities within the app ecosystem, namely MozyTru for Single Lane Free Flow (SLFF) services or contactless toll transaction systems, and MoVision for toll road operations and maintenance dashboards. The presence of this new identity is expected to strengthen Hutama Karya’s positioning as a modern, professional toll road operator focused on service, while building a stronger, more consistent, and easily recognisable toll road management brand. In line with this, Hutama Karya is also enhancing the functions of its Toll Road Management Command Centre to support increasingly broad and dynamic operational monitoring needs. With more optimal visualisation capacity, this facility is expected to support real-time traffic monitoring and control, while serving as a representative space for visits, study tours, and benchmarking activities from various parties. Hutama Karya’s President Director, Koentjoro, stated that this transformation is part of the company’s commitment to strengthening service quality and operational readiness amid the growth of the toll road network it manages. “The addition of toll roads managed by Hutama Karya demands a more responsive, integrated management system aligned with technological advancements. The update to the command centre and app rebranding are continuations of the systems we have previously built, now with a more modern appearance, easier access, and greater relevance to operational and user needs,” said Koentjoro in a written statement, quoted on Thursday (23/4/2026). The event was attended by the Director General of Road Development from the Ministry of Public Works, Roy Rizali Anwar, the Director of Road Traffic from the Ministry of Transportation, Rudi Irawan, as well as Hutama Karya’s directors and management. As part of the activation series, Hutama Karya is also holding a photo challenge at a photobooth for road users. The public can participate by taking photos in the photobooth area and uploading them according to the specified rules. Ten winners will receive attractive prizes from Hutama Karya.
