Hutama Karya speeds up JTTS maintenance ahead of Lebaran travel period
Maintenance at these points is targeted to be completed before 10 March 2026. This acceleration is an initiative by the tolled road operator to maintain the standard of toll road service quality.
Palembang - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) together with its subsidiary PT Hakaaston (HKA) is speeding up maintenance on the Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera (JTTS) ahead of the Lebaran 2026 homecoming period to ensure smooth traffic flow and road safety for road users.
Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hamdani said in a statement received in Palembang on Saturday that the acceleration of maintenance is being carried out on several strategic corridors, namely the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung (Terpeka) and Pekanbaru-Dumai (Permai) toll roads.
“Maintenance at these points is targeted to be completed before 10 March 2026. This acceleration is a step by the toll road operator to maintain the standard of toll road service quality,” he said.
He explained that the maintenance is performed to ensure the road surface condition remains reliable and safe so that it can support mobility of the community and the smooth distribution of logistics ahead of the mudik Lebaran.
“On the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung toll road, maintenance is being carried out on several segments spread from KM 188+542.50 to KM 330+404.00 in Lane A,” he explained.
Hakaaston Operations Director Martin Nababan said the acceleration of maintenance is focused on maintaining toll road reliability so that users can drive safely and comfortably.
“Road user safety is our top priority. Therefore, repairs are carried out earlier so that road conditions remain optimal during the homecoming period,” Martin said.
The company urged road users to stay cautious, heed posted signs, and follow directions from field officers for everyone’s safety.
If further information is needed or to submit complaints, road users can contact the call centre for each toll road or via Hutama Karya’s official toll road social media accounts.
