The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is implementing a Rp 1 fare for public transport modes during Eid al-Fitr. These include TransJakarta, MRT, LRT Jakarta, and LRT Jabodebek. The Rp 1 fare applies for two days from 21-22 March 2026. With this fare, residents are expected to enjoy the Eid moments by travelling around the capital. Quoting from the Instagram post of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (@dishubdkijakarta), there are several payment methods available, from electronic money cards to the JakLingko and MyMRTJ applications. TransJakarta The TransJakarta operations and fares are adjusted during Eid al-Fitr 2026. TransJ buses will start operating at 09.00 WIB and charge Rp 1 on the first day of Eid 2026. “On the first day of Eid al-Fitr (21 or 22 March 2026), TransJakarta will start operations later than the regular schedule: Buses will begin operating at 09.00 WIB to give drivers and field staff the opportunity to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers,” said the President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Welfizon Yuza, in a written statement on Tuesday (17/3/2026). “Customers can enjoy TransJakarta services with a special fare of Rp 1 on Eid day,” he added. 1. Support for Mudik and Return Eid Flows To support customer activities heading to terminals, stations, and ports, TransJakarta is making several adjustments as follows: a. Reactivation of Route 10C: Connecting Tanjung Priok Port-Tanjung Priok as a shuttle service for mudik travellers using sea transport. This route operates from 13-29 March 2026 with operational hours adjusted to ship arrival schedules. b. Extension of Service Hours: Routes passing through intercity KAI stations (such as Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station) and transit stations will have extended operational hours until 23.59 WIB during the period 25-29 March 2026. c. AMARI (Night Transport) Service: 24-hour bus operations remain available on main corridors (Corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14) to ensure seamless connectivity. Special Eid Routes: Specifically on 25-27 March 2026, support routes (EID1 - EID5) will be opened connecting Pulo Gebang Terminal to various other terminals in Jakarta (Senen, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan, Pasar Minggu, and Kalideres) from 00.00-05.00 WIB. 2. Tourist Routes During the Eid holiday period (18-24 March 2026), TransJakarta is preparing routes to main tourist spots in Jakarta with operational hours from 05.00-23.59 WIB for regular services and 10.00-17.00 WIB for tourist buses to: - Ancol: Routes 5 and 1W. - Ragunan: Routes 6, 6A, 6B, 6V, 5N, 6N, and 7E. - TMII: Route 7D. - Kota Tua & Monas: Routes 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3H, 12, 1A, 12B, and others. PT TransJakarta ensures that the implementation of these special Eid services will not disrupt the performance and quality of existing regular routes. Customers are advised to always monitor the latest information through TransJakarta’s official social media or the TJ:TransJakarta application. MRT Quoting from the MRT Jakarta Info Instagram account (@mrtjktinfo), MRT Jakarta during the 2026 Eid holiday from 18-24 March 2026 operates from 05.00-24.00 WIB. Train arrival intervals are every 10 minutes from 18-24 March 2026. LRT Jabodebek. In the Instagram post @lrt_jabodebek, the Rp 1 fare per trip applies only on H1 (first day of Eid 21 March 2026) and H2 (second day of Eid 22 March 2026) for all travel routes. Payments can be made using Access by KAI, multi-trip cards (KMT), electronic money cards (KUE), QRIS Tap, and LinkAja. In welcoming the night of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government presents the Jakarta Bedug Kolosal, a cultural and religious celebration uniting thousands of residents in the rhythm of drums and takbir chants. This festivity will also be enlivened with an Electric Torch Parade and decorated vehicles from Monas to Bundaran HI on Friday, 20 March 2026 at 20.00 WIB.
