Hunter Biden Reveals Joe Biden's Condition: Prostate Cancer Metastasised to Bone

The prostate cancer suffered by former United States President Joe Biden (83) has reportedly spread to other parts of his body, including his bones. The condition is causing considerable pain for the oldest politician ever to serve as head of state of the US.

News of Joe Biden’s deteriorating health was conveyed directly by his son, Hunter Biden, in an emotional interview with the BBC on Friday (7/8). Hunter admitted that witnessing his father’s current condition has been extremely difficult for the family.

“The cancer has spread, there is metastasis to the bone and other parts. It is very painful and debilitating in various aspects,” said Hunter Biden, as quoted from Anadolu.

Joe Biden only revealed his cancer diagnosis to the public in May 2025. The announcement came less than four months after he left the White House. Hunter said the diagnosis has been a heavy burden that the wider Biden family has struggled to accept.

During his time in office, Biden’s health was a frequent source of public concern. Biden and his advisers at the White House faced criticism for allegedly concealing his true health condition, especially after he decided to withdraw from the presidential race for a second term.

Public suspicion intensified when Biden appeared less than optimal in the 2024 US presidential debate against Donald Trump, who has since returned to office as president. That performance fuelled speculation about Biden’s physical and mental fitness at his advanced age.

Hunter Biden hopes his father can be more open about the pain he is experiencing. “It is very sad to watch. The only thing I will say about my father is that I hope he can complain more often, because his condition is really not good,” he concluded.
