Hundreds of Students in Solo Hold Joint Prayer for NTT Earthquake Victims

Hundreds of students gathered to offer prayers for the victims of the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) during a solidarity event at Taman Jaya Wijaya, Mojosongo, Solo, Central Java, on Friday (21/8/2026). The pupils came together to send prayers and demonstrate their concern for the children and communities affected by the earthquake in NTT.

The event was attended by around 300 students from a consortium of state primary schools in Mojosongo. In addition to serving as a form of solidarity, the activity provided a space for pupils to learn about empathy and compassion for fellow citizens facing disaster. The students unfurled the Indonesian flag and observed a moment of silence to pray for the safety and recovery of residents impacted by the disaster.
