Hundreds of Settlers Raid Al-Aqsa Mosque, Local Residents Dragged and Beaten
Hundreds of Israeli settlers raided the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning through the Mughrabi Gate, under strict escort by Israeli occupation police.
They performed rituals and prayers based on the Talmud, singing in groups and clapping. The Jerusalem authorities stated that these actions occurred on the fourth day of the Jewish festival, Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), noting that the settlers performed their rituals in the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard under police protection.
According to reports from the Jerusalem authorities, the settlers attacked residents, beating and dragging them in the area near the Damascus Gate. Videos documenting these settler attacks were also uploaded to social media platforms.
These actions by the settlers took place alongside tightened military measures by the occupation authorities around the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City, which have restricted access and the movement of worshippers.
