Hundreds of Residents Lodge Complaints Over Inaccurate Decile Data

Hundreds of residents visited the Decile Complaint Post in Bumi Pospera, Cipinang, East Jakarta, on Sunday (20/09/2026). They arrived to express objections regarding decile data, which is deemed not to reflect their actual social and economic circumstances.

The residents, representing various backgrounds including housewives, street musicians, daily labourers, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and online motorcycle taxi drivers, queued to submit their grievances. The initiative, organised by the People’s Struggle Post (Posko Perjuangan Rakyat), provides a service to collect complaints and inventory the actual living conditions of the residents.

The purpose of these complaints is to reconcile recorded data with the current reality of the citizens’ lives. Residents hope that the data used by authorities will accurately reflect their living conditions, ensuring that government aid and social programmes are delivered more precisely to those in need.
