Hundreds of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) supported by a number of mining companies are taking part in the South Kalimantan Expo 2026, held in conjunction with the 76th anniversary of South Kalimantan Province.

PT Adaro Indonesia is one of the participants in the South Kalimantan Expo 2026, which runs from 12 to 18 August 2026 at the South Kalimantan provincial government office complex in Banjarbaru. A total of 70 local MSME products assisted by PT Adaro Indonesia from various areas around the company’s operations are featured in the event.

A range of flagship products from Adaro-assisted MSMEs are on display. Among them are Aulia Sukma, an Adaro-assisted MSME from Tabalong Regency presenting processed milkfish products, and Acil Jarukan Tarap.

“We are happy to take part in this South Kalimantan Expo, because it is an opportunity for MSME players in regions like ours to expand their market while introducing local products to visitors coming from various areas,” said Aulia Sukma and Iis Solihah, two MSME entrepreneurs from Tabalong Regency.

Meanwhile, PT Arutmin Indonesia, which supports around 200 MSMEs in three regencies—Tanah Laut, Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru—is also participating in the South Kalimantan Expo 2026, as are several other companies operating in South Kalimantan.

PT Arutmin Indonesia Community Development Coordinator Diana said that in addition to capital support, the company also works to improve human resource capacity, product quality and marketing, including through participation in exhibitions. “Of the hundreds of MSMEs we support, 80 per cent are now independent and have succeeded in boosting the local economy,” she said.
