Hundreds of Legal Administrative Services Now Accessible Digitally

The Ministry of Law continues its efforts to transform how the public accesses legal services. Moving away from the previous requirement for citizens to visit government offices, hundreds of legal administrative services can now be accessed digitally.

This change was introduced directly to the public through the 2026 Impactful AHU Services Festival in Bandung, West Java. Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas opened the festival in Bandung on Saturday (29/08/2026). The event, which runs until Monday (31/08/2026), serves as a direct meeting space between the public and legal administrative officers, while simultaneously introducing the service transformation from manual to digital systems.

Supratman stated that bureaucracy must not become an obstacle for the public in obtaining public services. The government, he said, must bring services closer to the people, rather than the other way around.

“President Prabowo Subianto desires that bureaucracy and services must not create distance between the servants and those being served,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Sunday (30/08/2026).

According to Supratman, this festival is an effort by the Ministry to proactively reach out to the community. The government should not merely provide services in offices but must ensure that the public understands and can access these services easily.

This transformation is marked by the availability of 470 legal services from the Ministry of Law digitally through the PASTI application. With these services, the public no longer needs to visit the Ministry of Law offices in Jakarta or regional offices to obtain assistance.

“Ladies and gentlemen do not need to come to the Ministry of Law in Jakarta or the Ministry of Law in West Java,” he said.

The Impactful AHU Services Festival also provides various services in person. The public can obtain information and consult on services regarding Sole Proprietorships, apostille and legalisation, notary services, fiduciary, and several other legal services. Education regarding criminal services, including Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS), clemency, and dactyloscopy, is also provided.

The Director General of General Legal Administration, Widodo, stated that the festival was intentionally designed to be more than just a service exhibition. The public is given space to express their needs as well as the legal issues they face.
