Hundreds of Community Elements Join National Assembly in Bandung

A spirit of togetherness was on display during the ‘Jaga Rawat Jawa Barat’ (Jawara) National Assembly for Indonesia held at the West Java People’s Struggle Monument in Bandung on Friday (14/8/2026). Hundreds of participants from various community elements, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), local government officials, and online motorcycle taxi communities gathered in formation as a form of shared commitment to maintaining security, public order, and stability in West Java. West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto, and Siliwangi Regional Military Commander Major General Kosasih led the flag-raising ceremony. The event also featured a free motorcycle servicing programme for online drivers and a pilot ‘Jawara Aspiration Post’ to engage with community concerns.
