Humpuss internal acquisition

JAKARTA (JP): A tanker company, PT Humpuss Sea Transport,
plans to buy a majority stake in its sister company PT Humpuss
Terminal Peti Kemas, which operates a container terminal at
Jakarta's Tanjung Priok port, an executive said.

The executive said in Bisnis Indonesia yesterday that before
the internal acquisition, Humpuss Terminal Peti Kemas would first
buy a majority stake in another company under the Humpuss Group,
PT Senawangi Wisamarta Utama which is based on Batam island.

Humpuss Sea Transport also planned to go public in the near
future, the executive said. (13)
