Human's fortune partly determined by 'Feng shui'

Human's fortune partly determined by 'Feng shui'

BANDUNG (JP): It is generally assumed that Feng shui is only
related to the right arrangement of buildings and their elements
to create balance and harmony between the buildings and the
natural environment.

Actually Feng shui in humans is no less important, because it
also determines one's luck. This partly explains why a person
living in a good Feng shui house is not always endowed with luck.
The Feng shui of a house and that of a person should compliment
each other.

The Chi is also believed to circulate in the body. The ideal
condition is that the circulation goes smoothly from heel to the
top of the head. In perfect conditions, this will create an aura
similar to that of Christ or the topknot of the Buddha.

The flow of Chi in your body may determine your personality,
destiny, actions and interaction with others. What you can do is
to balance and cultivate our Chi. The power Chi in your body is
related to the principle of Wu Xing or five elements: metal.
wood, water, fire and earth. Lack of one or more element may be
reflected in a person's personality.

A person possessing little wood is like a leaf floating on
water. He lacks a point of view and is easily influenced by
others. Medium wood is like a young healthy tree. When the wind
blows, its leaves and branches bend, but return to their correct
position. This kind of person is flexible and receptive to new
ideas. A person who has a lot of ideas but is stubborn and
prejudiced is a reflection of big wood.

Water can be moving or still. Moving water represents a range
of business and social contacts and activities as well as
personal drive and mobility. However, the personality of moving
water can be various; imagine a waterfall, stream, river and an
ocean, they all have different characteristics. Still water
reflects insights and intelligence. A pond is small but clear,
reflecting smartness but limited interests. A reservoir is a
highly intelligent, lucid and reflective person.

Those with small fire internalize their feelings by swallowing
their anger instead of defending themselves. The medium fire is
reflected by a person with a considerate and strong sense of
justice and is capable of criticizing the wrongs, yet knows when
to stop. The large fire may be aggressive and bossy. They are
also intolerant, easily angered and never feel content.

Earth represents honesty and loyalty. Small earth people take
care of themselves and don't share with others. They tend to be
insincere, opportunistic and selfish. The medium earth is not
only sincere and reliable, but also faithful. They consider
themselves and others as equals. People who are too earnest and
self-sacrificing depict the large earth, their Chi flows
downward.

Understanding your own Chi is very important. Your task is to
balance yourself with a proportional Chi in your body. This can
be done by following the principle of the productive and
destructive cycle of the five elements. The productive cycle is
when metal produces water; water produces wood; wood produces
fire; fire produces earth; and earth produces metal. The
destructive cycle is when metal destroys wood; wood destroys
earth; earth destroys water; water destroys fires and fires
destroys metal.

Human Feng shui is concerned with regulating balance and
harmony in the body. The Chi flow can be enhanced by meditating,
and by things that we wear, eat, drink and so forth. Last but not
least, it is important to behave well and maintain a good
positive attitude.
