Humanitarian Commitment Continues: Bogor Police Implement Third Phase of House Renovation Programme
The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) have handed over assistance for the repair of Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) to seven beneficiaries. The handover of aid by the Bogor District Police as part of the third phase of the ‘Rumah Asri’ programme was conducted directly by the West Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pipit Rismanto.
The distribution of aid took place during the Regional Police Chief’s working visit to the Bogor District Police Headquarters in Cibinong on Friday (25/09/2026). Prior to the handover of these seven units in phase three, the Bogor Police had completed house renovations for 13 residents in the first phase, followed by eight units during the second phase.
Bogor District Police Chief, AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto, stated that the assistance provided to residents is being carried out incrementally. He emphasised that the presence of the National Police in the field must provide direct benefits to the community.
“The Rumah Asri programme is not merely a momentary ceremonial activity. We have now reached phase three. In the first phase, we executed 13 houses, followed by phase two with 8 houses, and today the Regional Police Chief personally handed over aid for 7 houses in phase three. Our presence in the field must truly serve as a real solution to the difficulties faced by citizens. The duty of the police is not just about law enforcement, but also about humanising humanity,” explained AKBP Wikha in a statement received on Friday.
The ‘Rumah Asri’ programme is a long-term humanitarian initiative by the Bogor District Police, executed on a sustainable basis. The seven residents identified as beneficiaries in this third phase underwent a rigorous process of factual verification and social vulnerability mapping by the Bhabinkamtibmas (community policing) officers.
The allocation of police assistance is ensured to be precisely targeted, reaching residents in most desperate need of housing repairs. On this occasion, West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pipit Rismanto expressed special appreciation for the consistency of the Bogor District Police in performing their role of protecting and serving the community.
