Human Bodies Can Be Rented by AI, Here's the Pay

A startup named RentAHuman.ai is pioneering a concept where human bodies can be rented for use by artificial intelligence. Founded by Alexander Liteplo, the platform enables AI to search for, book, and pay humans to perform physical tasks. Liteplo believes there is a significant opportunity, asserting that robots need human bodies. By February, he claimed more than 130 people had registered, with backgrounds ranging from OnlyFans models to startup CEOs. The number of registrants has since surged, reaching 73,000 people within two days. To join, interested individuals simply create a profile detailing their location, skills, and hourly wage. According to the official website, requested pay varies, from US$1 for subscribing to an account on X to US$100 for taking a selfie holding a sign that reads ‘AI paid me to hold this sign’. An autonomous bot then contacts people based on the required tasks, and the AI agent provides instructions to the human worker. Proof of task completion is also requested by the robot, while human workers are paid in crypto assets. Liteplo likens the platform to Uber, suggesting it can form a new gig work ecosystem. The AI agent website is designed to be robot-friendly. Users are asked to build a connection with a device that allows all types of AI bots to interact with data, known as a Model Context Protocol (MCP). AI agents like Claude or MoltbBot can then directly hire humans without troubling human users.
