HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series Officially Launched in Indonesia: Price and Specifications
Indonesian awareness of preventive health is entering a new phase. Wearable devices are no longer mere accessories but essential investments for proactive fitness monitoring. In response to this need, Huawei officially launched the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series in the Indonesian market on 21 May 2026.
The latest lineup comes in two variants—Basic and Pro—with significant upgrades over its predecessor, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4. Featuring a more premium design, brighter display, and revolutionary health features such as Diabetes Risk Study, the series is set to redefine the smartwatch standard in the country.
The most notable improvement in the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro is the Diabetes Risk Study feature, the first of its kind in Indonesia’s wearable industry designed to help users detect diabetes risks early.
Using photoplethysmography (PPG) technology with a 6-LED sensor, the device continuously monitors vital signs over 3 to 14 days, categorising results into low, medium, and high risk levels. Developed with international health institutions, the feature provides an accurate early warning system before consulting medical professionals.
Aesthetically, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series is slimmer yet robust. The Pro variant features a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 3,000 nits brightness, ensuring readability even under direct sunlight, alongside 2.5D sapphire glass and a titanium alloy frame. The Basic variant offers maximum comfort at just 27 grams using 7000-series aluminium alloy, with the Silver edition incorporating recycled materials as part of Huawei’s environmental sustainability commitment.
Outdoor enthusiasts benefit from the updated Sunflower Positioning System, ensuring stronger GPS accuracy even in urban canyons. The Pro variant also includes specialised sports modes.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series is available online via Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, and offline at HUAWEI Authorized Experience Stores and official retail partners. During the First Sale period (21 May–20 June 2026), buyers receive an exclusive bonus worth Rp699,000, including HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 3, HUAWEI Health+ membership, and a one-month HUAWEI WATCH Face VIP subscription. The device is fully compatible with iOS and Android via HarmonyOS.
