Huawei to Launch WATCH Ultimate 2 in Indonesia, Luxury Smartwatch for Extreme Exploration
Huawei is strengthening its dominance in the ultra-premium wearables market by announcing the arrival of the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in Indonesia.
Embodying the philosophy “The Ultimate in Luxury and Adventure”, the device is not only a symbol of upmarket lifestyle but also brings the first exploration technology in the smartwatch class.
One of the main advantages offered is diving capability never before seen in the smartwatch category. The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 is the first smartwatch supporting diving mode down to 150 metres depth and water resistance up to 200 metres.
Diver safety is prioritised with the introduction of independent underwater sonar communication features. This technology allows users to send text messages and emojis down to 30 metres depth, as well as Underwater SOS functionality down to 60 metres without requiring additional devices.
Additionally, the device automatically records diving data, including routes and location points via GPS.
To support activities in extreme terrain, the watch body uses zirconium-based liquid metal material. This material is claimed to have corrosion resistance ten times better than conventional materials. The screen section is protected by sapphire glass with maximum brightness of 3,500 nits, ensuring information remains clearly readable under intense sunlight as well as at sea depth.
Behind its durability, the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 is equipped with a Comprehensive Health Mastery system through Multi-Sensing X-TAP technology. This feature allows users to monitor blood oxygen levels (SpO₂) in real-time and obtain comprehensive health analysis through Health Glance.
For land adventures, there are pro-level Expedition Mode features, fall detection, and altitude monitoring.
The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 will be officially available from 5 March 2026. During the promotional period until 4 April 2026, consumers have the opportunity to receive free gifts valued up to Rp2.7 million, which include HUAWEI FreeBuds 6, HUAWEI Health+ membership, one-year extended warranty, and accidental damage protection.
