Huawei MatePad Air: Specifications, Features, and Price in Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Huawei is preparing to bring the MatePad Air tablet to the Indonesian market following its introduction at a launch event in Jakarta on Friday (28/8). However, the official price and sales date in Indonesia have not yet been announced.
The MatePad Air is the newest member of Huawei’s tablet family, prioritising a thin and lightweight design while supporting productivity needs. Huawei has equipped the device with an OLED PaperMatte display, a Kirin T93C chipset, and a large-capacity battery.

12-inch 144 Hz OLED Display
The Huawei MatePad Air features a 12-inch OLED PaperMatte display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels. The screen boasts a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.
PaperMatte technology is utilised to reduce light reflections on the screen surface, making it more comfortable to use under various lighting conditions.
One of the main attractions of the MatePad Air is its dimensions. The tablet has a thickness of only 5.3 mm and weighs approximately 509 grams.
Huawei uses a metal unibody design with a pearlescent finish. For colour options, the MatePad Air will be available in three variants: white, light blue, and pink.

In terms of performance, the MatePad Air uses the Kirin T93C chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The device runs on the HarmonyOS 4.3 operating system. Huawei has also equipped the tablet with several productivity features, such as WPS AI, GoPaint, Huawei Notes, and Filmora.
10,100 mAh Battery
The MatePad Air features a 10,100 mAh battery capacity. Huawei claims the battery can be used for up to 16 hours of local video playback.
This battery capacity makes the MatePad Air suitable for users who require long-lasting devices for work, study, or enjoying multimedia content.
For photography, the MatePad Air is equipped with a 50-megapixel rear camera, while the front camera has a 12-megapixel resolution.
The tablet is also equipped with six speakers and two microphones with Huawei Sound audio settings to support multimedia activities and video conferencing.

The Huawei MatePad Air is designed as a productivity device with support for accessories such as the Smart Magnetic Keyboard and the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro.
This combination allows the tablet to be used for typing documents, taking notes, drawing, and performing various creative tasks. Huawei also provides the GoPaint and WPS AI applications to support these needs.
MatePad Air Price in Indonesia
Although it has been introduced in Indonesia, Huawei has not yet announced the official price or the sales date for the MatePad Air in the country. The company stated that the tablet will arrive soon and asked consumers to await further announcements.
