Huawei Mate X7 foldable smartphone priced at Rp27.9 million in Indonesia

Huawei Device Indonesia has begun marketing its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate X7, in Indonesia, pricing it at Rp27.9 million. The Mate X7 is promised to meet the high expectations of foldable-phone enthusiasts by combining a slim profile with high photographic performance. “Designed with an ultra-thin profile, the Mate X7 offers uncompromising performance and reliability,” said Edy Supartono, Senior Retail Manager at Huawei Device Indonesia, at the launch event in Jakarta on Thursday. “The camera system has become even more advanced and can outpace any flagship today,” he added. The Mate X7 is 4.5 mm thick when unfolded and 9.5 mm when folded. The device is relatively light, weighing 236 grams, comfortable to hold when folded. The Mate X7 features two OLED LTPO panels with adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz. The main display measures 8 inches and the outer display 6.49 inches. Both displays have a resolution of 2,444 x 1,080 pixels. The peak brightness of the main display reaches up to 2,500 nits, while the outer display reaches 3,000 nits. The outer panel is coated with Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass, which Huawei says offers scratch resistance up to 16x and drop resistance up to 25x better than standard glass. The front camera, 8 MP, is available on both the outer and inner screens. The 50 MP telephoto macro lens offers 3.5x optical zoom and focusing ability down to 12 cm to enhance the user’s photography experience. AI-based features such as AI Remove and AI Best Expression can be used to perfect photos. Huawei equips the Mate X7 with a 5,600 mAh battery and supports 66 W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging. The Mate X7 is sold in Indonesia with 16GB RAM and 512GB ROM in three colours: Brocade White, Nebula Red, and Black. During the promotional period from 5 March to 4 April 2026, Huawei Mate X7 is priced at Rp27,999,000 and can be obtained from electronics channels as well as Huawei stores.
