Huawei launches foldable smartphone and smartwatch in Indonesia
Jakarta – Huawei has introduced two new flagship product lines to the Indonesian market: the premium foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X7 and the latest smartwatch Huawei Watch Ultimate 2. The two lines are claimed to come with a range of technological innovations that place them at the top of their class.
“The Mate X7 is designed to take you further and offer more experiences. It’s not just about technology, but about elevating the user experience and bringing more excitement to every moment,” Huawei Device Indonesia CEO Huiler Fan said at a ceremony in Jakarta on Thursday (5 March).
The new Huawei foldable phone isn’t only sleek; it also offers durability and high-quality cameras. It comes in three colours and is priced at Rp27.999 million during a promotional period running until 4 April 2026. The Mate X7 also highlights a true-to-colour camera capable of achieving 43 percent better colour accuracy than the previous generation, ensuring natural and precise photos and videos. In addition, it is equipped with features that produce clear photos even in extreme lighting, capture sharp detail from long distances, and include several artificial intelligence features to support photo editing.
Beyond the phone, Huawei showcased the latest technology in its smartwatch series, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2. Priced at Rp12.999 million, this watch is presented as a symbol of a premium lifestyle that blends luxury, extreme ruggedness, and exclusive technology not seen before. The Watch Ultimate 2 is the world’s first smartwatch with water resistance up to 200 metres, audio features, and diving mode down to 150 metres. It includes Independent Underwater Messaging to communicate underwater. In addition to diving sports, the smartwatch is designed as a comprehensive health and outdoor activity companion.
