Huawei Launches "AHEAD" Programme, Building a Mutually Beneficial New Ecosystem for Education and Healthcare
Huawei successfully held its Global Education & Healthcare Partners Convention 2026 under the theme “Together, Enabling Intelligent-led Education & Healthcare” in Shenzhen, China. More than 500 customers and industry partners from around 40 countries and regions participated in the event. At the convention, Huawei launched the Alliance on Healthcare & Education AI Digitalization 2.0, or ‘AHEAD’ Programme, an initiative to strengthen industry synergy and build a sustainable and high-quality ecosystem in the education and healthcare sectors.
Wind Li, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector BU, assessed that the world is heading towards a wave of transformation driven by artificial intelligence. Li stated that as foundations for sustainable human development, the education and healthcare sectors must undergo intelligent transformation, a condition that also opens massive opportunities. He affirmed Huawei’s commitment to finding the best path for intelligent transformation in these sectors, utilising AI and other cutting-edge technologies to expand access to quality education and optimise healthcare services globally. The launch of the ‘AHEAD’ Programme marks a critical step for Huawei in collaborating with global partners to build a future-ready industry community.
As a continuation of Alliance 1.0, which focused on infrastructure building, Partner Alliance 2.0 introduces a more integrated global ecosystem approach through six key collaboration pillars: understanding industry trends, capability development, joint solution creation, marketing, business opportunity sharing, and market expansion. Robert Yang, Director of the Partner Development Department for Huawei’s Global Public Sector BU, outlined the key roadmap for the alliance’s development, explaining that Huawei aims to mobilise the collective expertise of global partners to accelerate innovation. Through this collaborative framework, Huawei aims to deliver more innovative solutions tailored to specific industry needs, expecting this to drive a significant leap in digital and intelligent transformation in education and healthcare.
The successful hosting of the Global Education & Healthcare Partners Convention 2026 reflects a shared commitment between Huawei and its partners to advance the education and healthcare sectors. Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to deepen strategic collaborations with partners to explore high-value application scenarios, develop innovations based on cutting-edge technology, and address various global challenges. Through these steps, Huawei and its partners seek to shape a new direction for digital and intelligent transformation in the global education and healthcare sectors.
