Jakarta (ANTARA) - Huawei is currently testing several new batteries ranging from 7000 mAh to 10000 mAh for its flagship and mid-range phones.

It is rumoured that one of the battery packs being tested may debut in the upcoming release of the Huawei Mate 90 series, which is expected later this year.

As reported by Huawei Central on Saturday (16/5), this information initially came from technology leaker Smart Pikachu via the Weibo application.

This represents another breakthrough in battery technology. Regarding battery innovation, Huawei has already followed the trend of introducing phones with large battery sizes.

Starting with the Enjoy 90 Pro Max with an 8500 mAh battery and the Enjoy 90 Plus with a 6620 mAh battery.

Therefore, the decision to test batteries with larger capacities and better technology is something worth looking forward to.

In addition to being expected to be released in the Huawei Mate 90 series, there is also the possibility that the batteries currently being tested will debut in the Huawei Enjoy 100 with a 10,000 mAh battery size by the end of 2026.

However, it remains to be seen what technological innovations will be presented by this Chinese technology giant. After starting to catch up on introducing 5G chips, they are now starting to work on innovations from the battery side of their gadgets.
