Huawei and SAIC Set to Launch SAIC Z7T by Late March 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) — Huawei, together with SAIC, has officially reintroduced a collaborative vehicle, the SAIC Z7T, which adopts a coupe and estate car design and will be unveiled in late March. CarnewsChina reported on Thursday that the first estate car from HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) places emphasis on a modern design akin to contemporary vehicles. The SAIC Z7T features a mountain-green exterior, hidden door handles, and red brake calipers that give the vehicle a sportier look. For the rear, the surface is rounded, the taillights are integrated, and the roofline is sloped. In terms of the front, the SAIC Z7T comes with headlights that employ a 408-point laser-emission mechanism, the same as on the SAIC Z7. To date, information on the drive system of the SAIC Z7T remains unknown, but it is expected to adopt a BEV (battery electric vehicle) system offering rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations, with battery capacities of 80 kWh and 100 kWh, according to the Chinese media outlet Mydrivers. Currently, HIMA, the intelligent mobility alliance spearheaded by the Chinese technology giant Huawei, comprises five brands: Aito, Luxeed, Stelato, Maextro, and SAIC, with a price range from 200,000 to 1.5 million yuan.
