How to Update Your Desil Online via the Cek Bansos App

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Members of the public can update their own decile data without the hassle of visiting the kelurahan (sub-district) office, as the process can now be carried out online. Simply use the Cek Bansos app to update your decile data.

The Cek Bansos app is available on the Play Store for Android users. Make sure the app is installed on your mobile phone.

Updating decile data is important because it determines eligibility for social assistance (bansos) provided by the government.

For information, deciles 1-4 are entitled to PKH (Family Hope Programme) assistance and food aid. Meanwhile, deciles 1-5 may receive subsidised BPJS Kesehatan health insurance and other social welfare programmes from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

• Log in with the username and password registered previously

• Tap ‘Propose an Update’

• Fill in and complete the available questions
