Various types of issues can be reported by customers independently, including power outages in the surrounding area or at a private residence. In addition to power cuts, users can report technical problems with the kWh meter displaying a ‘PERIKSA’ (CHECK) message. This complaint feature also handles issues related to new installations, power changes, and payment problems for both postpaid and prepaid meters.

To make a report, the first step is to download and open the PLN Mobile application on a smartphone. Once on the main page, users simply select the ‘Pengaduan’ (Complaints) feature to begin the reporting process. The steps for submitting a complaint online are as follows: select the type of complaint being experienced, such as ‘Pengaduan Listrik Padam’ (Power Outage Complaint); enter or select the Customer ID (IDP) to be reported; set the coordinates of the disruption location to match the address registered on that IDP; fill in the complete address details, including province, city, district, and sub-district correctly; provide address landmarks such as the house number or gate colour to help officers find the location; and write a brief description of the complaint and attach a photo of the situation on the ground. After all data is completely filled in, the customer simply sends the report and waits for follow-up action from officers. Through this integrated complaint system, repair services become faster and more efficient for all PLN customers.
