Taxpayers no longer need to visit the tax office; they simply require a device connected to the internet. In good news, the government has officially extended the reporting deadline for the 2025 Annual SPT for individual taxpayers. Previously set for 31 March 2026, it has now been extended until 30 April 2026. With this additional time, the public is urged to take advantage of the opportunity to report their Annual SPT without rushing. This policy was implemented because the reporting period coincides with the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holidays, leaving many taxpayers unable to complete their reports on time.
