Through this programme, KIP Kuliah recipients not only receive tuition fee exemptions but also living cost assistance while pursuing higher education until graduation. Here are the maximum study durations covered by KIP Kuliah:

Requirements for KIP Kuliah 2026 Recipients
To become a KIP Kuliah 2026 recipient, Kemdiktisaintek has several established criteria, including:
Students graduating in 2026 or graduates from 2025 or 2024.
Declared to have passed selection into higher education institutions, either public (PTN) or private (PTS).
Possess good academic ability but come from families with limited economic conditions.
Experience economic limitations.

Amount of KIP Kuliah 2026 Funding Assistance
The living cost assistance for KIP Kuliah is determined by Kemdiktisaintek based on local price index calculations in each university region. This aims to adjust the assistance amount to living needs in the area where the student studies.
The living cost assistance is divided into five clusters:
Rp800,000 per month
Rp950,000 per month
Rp1,100,000 per month
Rp1,250,000 per month
Rp1,400,000 per month

KIP Kuliah 2026 Funding Disbursement Time
Education assistance funds are given to students every semester or every six months, with the assistance divided into two: Single Tuition Fee (UKT) and living cost assistance.
UKT fees are usually paid directly to the university, while living cost assistance is given to the student. The living cost assistance will be transferred directly to the KIP Kuliah recipient’s bank account.
Living cost assistance funds are generally disbursed per term through Himbara banks (Association of State-Owned Banks) such as BNI, BRI, BTN, and Mandiri. For even semesters (semester 2, 4, 6, etc.), living cost assistance is scheduled to be disbursed between February and March 2026. For odd semesters (semester 1, 3, 5, etc.), it is estimated to be disbursed in August to September 2026.
