How to Register for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Free Mudik Programme 2026: Here's the Link
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s Free Mudik programme is back again this year, with registration opening on 22 February 2026 via an online system.
Citing the Instagram account of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (@dishubdkijakarta) on Saturday (21 February), the following outlines the registration process for the 2026 Free Mudik programme.
To register, applicants should visit mudikgratis.jakarta.go.id, review all the terms and conditions, then click continue. A new account must be created — even those who previously had an account must register a new one. After successful account registration, applicants log in with their new credentials and click Enter.
For the One-Way Mudik Category, applicants click “One Way” if registering for the outbound journey only, then fill in personal details including destination city, identity card, national identification number (NIK), name, place and date of birth, and address. Applicants have 20 minutes to complete the registration. Those not travelling with family click “No”, then upload a photo and fill in family card details. After reviewing personal data and clicking continue, registration is complete and a registration ID is issued.
For the One-Way Category with Vehicle Transport, applicants create an account, fill in personal details, and click “Yes” to bring a motorised vehicle. Vehicle data must be entered, including number plate, vehicle registration certificate (STNK), brand, and year of manufacture. Family card data is then completed and personal details confirmed before registration is finalised and a registration ID is issued.
For the One-Way Category with Family Members, after creating an account and filling in personal details, applicants click “Yes” in the family mudik column. Personal and family card details for all family members must be entered. A maximum of four family members may be registered under a single family card. A registration ID is then issued upon completion.
For the Return Trip Mudik Category, applicants create an account, fill in personal details, and select the “Return Trip” category. They choose a destination city and review the return flow details, fill in personal data, and select whether they are travelling with family. Upon completing all registration steps, a registration ID is issued. Applicants are reminded to download their registration ID and bring all required documents during the verification process. Once verified, tickets are automatically validated on the website, and applicants should log in to check their status.
