How to perform digital Qurban via the blu app by BCA Digital

JAKARTA – The public can now perform the Qurban ritual digitally via the blu app by BCA Digital. Ahead of Eid al-Adha 2026, the service is offered through the BAZNAS x blu Digital Qurban feature, a collaboration between BCA Digital and the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS). Through the feature, customers can purchase sacrificial animals without visiting sales locations. The entire process, from animal selection to payment, is conducted via the blu app. BCA Digital’s Head of Digital Business, Edwin Tirta, stated that the service is designed to make the Qurban process more convenient and align with current digital lifestyles. ‘Through the BAZNAS x blu Digital Qurban service, we aim to provide a convenient and seamless Qurban experience directly from the blu app,’ Edwin said in a statement on Monday, 25 May 2026. The feature allows customers to choose various types of sacrificial animals, including goats, sheep, and cattle. Available sizes range from 21-26 kg, 27-29 kg, to 30-33 kg. A collective Qurban option is also available, where one cow is purchased for seven participants. Customers only need to enter one name per transaction. He explained that all animal packages are officially partnered with BAZNAS. The listed prices include costs for animal procurement, slaughter, and distribution of Qurban meat to beneficiaries by BAZNAS. Additionally, each transacting customer will receive an official Qurban certificate sent via their registered email as proof of completion. ‘The certificate will be sent directly by BAZNAS to the customer’s registered email on the blu app, complete with a Qurban report confirming the ritual has been fulfilled responsibly,’ he added.
