The latest development allows taxpayers to make payments using the QRIS Tap feature. Through this system, the transaction process becomes more practical as it can be completed with just one tap via a digital payment device. The public no longer needs to use cash or go through multiple layered payment steps. Currently, the PKB payment service via QRIS Tap is available at several locations, such as the North Jakarta Samsat and the Samsat Outlet at the DKI Jakarta Public Service Mall. In the future, this implementation will continue to be evaluated for expansion to other locations. With a fully integrated digital payment system, the process at the counter becomes shorter. This is expected to reduce queues and improve service time efficiency. On the other hand, the use of QRIS Tap aligns with the growing trend of non-cash transactions. This method can be used through various digital payment applications, whether mobile banking or electronic wallets that support the QRIS feature. This step also strengthens the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s commitment to building a digital payment ecosystem in the public services sector. In addition to being practical, the non-cash system is also considered safer and more transparent.
