How to Exchange New Lebaran Money Online in 2026 Through BI Pintar
The public can exchange new money for Lebaran 2026 online through BI Pintar via the official website pintar.bi.go.id provided by Bank Indonesia (BI).
This service is part of Bank Indonesia’s SERAMBI (Semarak Rupiah Ramadhan and Berkah Idul Fitri) 2026 programme, designed to meet the need for circulating currency ahead of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr.
The schedule and mechanism for new banknote exchanges were announced by Bank Indonesia through its official Instagram account @bank_indonesia.
Meanwhile, booking for regions outside Java opened from 27 February 2026 at 08:00 WIB until quotas were exhausted.
BI has reminded the public to place orders promptly as quotas are limited and may run out at any time.
Without the required documentation, officials are entitled to reject the exchange process.
The SERAMBI 2026 programme has been launched to ensure the public receives rupiah in circulating condition during Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr.
Residents of Jabodetabek are advised to monitor schedules and quota availability regularly through the official BI Pintar website to avoid missing out on exchange slots.
