How to enter Polstat STIS 2026: Requirements, programmes, selection stages, and tips for success
Politeknik Statistika STIS (Polstat STIS) is one of the most popular official academies each year because it implements a bond-based system and opens career opportunities for its graduates as civil servants (ASN). Polstat STIS is an official higher education institution under the auspices of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) that provides education in statistics and statistical computing. Polstat STIS opens three admission pathways for new students: the Regular Pathway, open to high school graduates from all over Indonesia; the Regional Affirmation Pathway, designated for Indigenous Papuans (OAP) according to regulations; and the Partnership Pathway, through cooperation with regional governments to meet staffing needs in partner areas.
The selection process for Polstat STIS uses an elimination system at each stage, including administrative selection, Basic Competency Selection (SKD) using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system, advanced Mathematics selection, psychometric tests and interviews, and health and fitness tests.
