How to Download Hajj Certificates: A Step-by-Step Guide
Pilgrims who have completed the Hajj pilgrimage can now easily obtain their official proof of completion documents. It is important for pilgrims to understand how to download the Hajj certificate if they wish to maintain a digital copy of the document.
According to guidelines from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the downloading process can be performed independently. Pilgrims only need to prepare their Nusuk Card as the primary access point.
Steps to Download the Huju Certificate:
To assist pilgrims, there are practical steps that can be followed directly on their respective devices. Based on official information, here is how to download the Hajj certificate:
Scan the barcode or QR code on the Nusuk Card.
Select the desired language (Arabic or English).
Click the “View Certificate” menu.
Select the certificate language (Arabic or English).
Select “Preview Certificate” to view the certificate and save it as an image.
Select “Download PDF” to download the certificate in PDF format.
Prohibition of Carrying Zamzam Water in Luggage
Flight regulations from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia emphasise that pilgrims must not include Zamzam water in their checked luggage. The baggage inspection process will utilise Multiview X-Ray machines, which are capable of detecting various prohibited items, including the presence of Zamzam water.
If officials find prohibited items within the luggage, the items will be removed. However, pilgrims need not worry about running out of the holy water, as every Hajj pilgrim will receive a 5-litre allocation of Zamzam water, which will be officially distributed upon arrival at the Hajj Departure Dormitory.
List of Prohibited Items During the Return from Hajj
In addition to Zamzam water, airlines have established a list of prohibitions for other high-risk items. The public is advised not to bring these dangerous goods into either the cabin or checked luggage.
The details of prohibited items during the return flight from Hajj are as follows:
Flammable or explosive items, such as matches, fuel, firecrackers, fireworks, etc.
Firearms and sharp weapons, including ammunition, knives, scissors, sabres, and various other sharp objects.
Various liquids, gels, aerosols, pastes, or creams exceeding the 100ml limit are not permitted in the aircraft cabin.
Cash in amounts exceeding IDR 100,000,000 or SAR 25,000 is not strictly prohibited, but must be reported to Customs officials in accordance with applicable regulations.
