YouTube Stories, now known as YouTube Shorts, is a feature for sharing short, vertical videos on YouTube, which previously allowed creators to upload temporary, short-form content. This feature was discontinued by YouTube in 2023 and replaced with the YouTube Shorts feature, which is now the platform’s primary short-form video format. To make content more engaging, use vertical videos, create an engaging opening within the first three seconds, add text to make it easy to understand without sound, and use hashtags such as #Shorts. If an account does not have the Stories feature, it is because YouTube is now more focused on Shorts as a replacement for Stories. (Z-4)
