How to Claim JHT Balance Below Rp 15 Million via the JMO App

The Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) balance from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan can be withdrawn through the Jamsostek Mobile (JMO) application. Now, claiming the JHT balance does not require a work certificate or employment confirmation letter, which is typically provided by the company to former employees. The withdrawal process is quick; once the documents are deemed complete, the balance is deposited into the applicant’s account within five days. “The withdrawal process takes a maximum of five working days from the time all documents are declared complete and accurate,” said Deputy for Communication of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Erfan Kurniawan, quoted from Kompas.com. There are two ways to claim the JHT balance. If the balance is below Rp 15 million, it can be done through the JMO app. If it exceeds Rp 15 million, use the Lapak Asik service (Contactless Service).
