How to Check PIP 2026 Disbursement Date on pip.kemendikdasmen.go.id, Can Be Done via Mobile Phone!
The Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) is one of the government’s efforts to support access to education for Indonesian children. Through this programme, students from low-income families receive assistance to continue schooling without financial barriers.
In addition to helping prevent school dropouts, PIP provides opportunities for students to focus on learning without being burdened by educational needs. Therefore, it is important to know complete information related to this programme.
Based on the General Secretary’s Regulation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 14 of 2022, PIP fund distribution is carried out in stages over three periods each year. So, how to check PIP 2026 and when is the disbursement? Read the following article for complete information compiled from the PIP Kemendikdasmen website and the ULT Information Centre page.
What is PIP?
PIP is government assistance in the form of cash, expanded access, and learning opportunities provided to students from poor or vulnerable poor families for education. This programme aims to ensure school-age children can continue receiving educational services until completing secondary level, either through formal pathways from primary to senior secondary/vocational schools or non-formal pathways such as Packages A to C, as well as special education.
Through PIP, the government seeks to prevent students from dropping out of school while encouraging those who have stopped to return and continue their education. Additionally, the programme is expected to help alleviate direct and indirect education costs borne by students.
When Will PIP 2026 Be Disbursed?
Previously, it was known that according to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation Number 14 of 2022, the distribution of Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) funds is carried out in stages over three periods each year. This division does not mean every student receives assistance three times, but rather schedules the disbursement based on data collection and incoming proposals. Generally, the PIP disbursement schedule is divided into three terms:
Term 1: February-April, prioritised for students who already have the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) and whose data has been validated.
Term 2: May-September, intended for students proposed by education offices or listed in the Nomination Decree (SK).
Term 3: October-December, targeted at students who have not received assistance in the previous two stages, ensuring they still have a chance to receive funds at year-end.
So, how is it implemented this year? Based on Circular Letter of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 02/SE/2026 on the distribution of PIP funds for the 2026 Fiscal Year, the first phase disbursement is scheduled to begin from early February and proceed gradually until the end of March 2026.
