This aligns with the digitalisation efforts of services undertaken by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN). The service enables the public to obtain initial information related to land data without having to visit a land office directly, making it more practical and efficient. The check can be done through the official ATR/BPN application, namely Sentuh Tanahku. Director General of Land and Spatial Survey and Mapping at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Virgo Eresta Jaya, stated that the utilisation of digital services is part of the transformation of public services in the land sector. “Digitalisation of land services is an important step to increase transparency and facilitate the public in accessing information,” said Virgo, quoted by Kompas.com on Friday (27/3/2026). Checking land certificates through the Sentuh Tanahku application uses the plot search feature. However, this feature is also divided into two: for analogue (physical) certificates and electronic certificates.
