Decile is the division of the population into 10 groups based on welfare level. Its determination is not only based on income, but also refers to 39 other variables, including housing conditions, asset ownership, household expenditure levels, and access to education and basic services.

Decile 1: Very poor / extreme poor
Decile 2: Poor
Decile 3: Near poor
Decile 4: Vulnerable to poverty
Decile 5: Transition towards middle class
Decile 6-10: Middle class to the highest economic group
You can check your Decile status at any time through the official Ministry of Social Affairs website free of charge. Here are the steps:
Open the cekbansos.kemensos.go.id page through a browser on your mobile phone or computer.
Enter your NIK and regional data according to your ID card.
Type the verification code that appears on the screen.
Click the Search Data button.
The system will display your identity, Decile group, type of social assistance received, and the distribution period.
A request to change Decile status can be made if the recorded data no longer reflects the family’s current condition, for example:
A decrease or increase in family income
A change in the employment status of the head of the family or family members

A change in living conditions and housing facilities

Population Identification Number (NIK)
