Not only civil servants and private sector employees, but drivers and couriers working for application-based transportation services (online drivers and couriers) or ride-hailing services (ojol) will also receive Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) or Religious Holiday Bonus (BHR).
What is the amount of THR ojol 2026? Below is how to calculate it according to Circular Letter from Indonesia’s Minister of Manpower Number M/4/HK.04.00/III/2026 concerning the Provision of Religious Holiday Bonuses in 2026 for Drivers and Couriers at Application-Based Transportation Services.
How to Calculate THR Ojol 2026
Based on the Circular Letter from Indonesia’s Minister of Manpower Number M/4/HK.04.00/III/2026, the Religious Holiday Allowance/Bonus (THR/BHR) for ojol drivers is provided in the form of cash at least 25 per cent (twenty-five per cent) of average net income over the last 12 (twelve) months.
If the average net income over the last 12 months amounts to Rp1,000,000, then the THR/BHR obtained would be at least:
- 25% x 1,000,000 = Rp250,000
Therefore, ojol drivers will receive a Religious Holiday Bonus of at least Rp250,000.
Provisions for THR Ojol 2026
Here are some provisions for the payment of THR ojol 2026 based on the circular from the Minister of Manpower:
Religious Holiday Bonus (BHR) is provided by the application company to drivers and online couriers officially registered with the application company for a period of 12 (twelve) months preceding.
Religious Holiday Bonus (BHR) is provided in the form of cash at least 25 per cent (twenty-five per cent) of average net income over the last 12 (twelve) months.
Application companies must be transparent in calculating the amount of Religious Holiday Bonus for drivers and online couriers.
Religious Holiday Bonus (BHR) must be paid no later than 7 (seven) days before Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri.
The provision of Religious Holiday Bonus does not eliminate welfare support for drivers and online couriers in accordance with applicable legislation previously provided by the application company.
