How to Board the TransJakarta Route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport with a Ticket Fare of Rp 3,500

TransJakarta has recently added a new Transjabodetabek SH2 route serving Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, linking Jakarta and Tangerang city and potentially increasing passenger capacity on the corridor.

The new TransJakarta service to Soekarno-Hatta Airport is expected to provide easier access for residents wanting to travel to the airport. “This will certainly enrich and facilitate access for residents of the Jabodetabek region to reach the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang,” explained Tangerang Mayor H. Sachrudin on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

“Many Tangerang residents commute to the capital in the morning for work. Tangerang is also a transit city, crossed by the Jakarta-Merak toll route, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, and national roads such as Daan Mogot Street and Gatot Subroto Street,” Sachrudin added.

The SH1 route connects Kalideres to Soekarno-Hatta Airport, linking several points across West Jakarta to the airport area, with a total of 45 stops in each direction. The SH1 bus service operates daily from 05:00 to 22:00 WIB, with the final departure from Soekarno-Hatta Airport office at 22:15 WIB.

Passengers must use e-money for payment, simply tapping in and tapping out when boarding TransJakarta. Passengers can board and alight at Lane 6 of Blok M Bus Terminal, heading to Soekarno-Hatta Airport Railway Station.
