Jakarta, VIVA – The cryptocurrency industry in Indonesia is committed to helping boost public welfare going forward, in part by accelerating the growth of technology and the digital economy.

One such effort comes from Indodax, which is celebrating its 12th anniversary during Ramadan through a programme entitled “Berkah Ramadan 2026: Rangkai Ramadan, Rajut Kebaikan Bersama Indodax” (Ramadan Blessings 2026: Weaving Ramadan, Knitting Goodness Together with Indodax).

“Ramadan is always the right time to strengthen sharing and doing good. We want to ensure that the growth of technology and the digital economy also brings tangible impact to communities,” said Indodax Vice President Antony Kusuma in a written statement on Monday, 23 February 2026.

Antony explained that the initiative is part of the company’s long-term commitment to promoting literacy, inclusion, and social responsibility, all of which contribute to improving public welfare.

“We want our presence to be felt not only through digital services but also through real actions that touch everyday life. We hope this small step can be sustained, bring genuine benefits, and become part of our commitment to humanitarian values,” he said.

Through this initiative, Indodax hopes the spirit of collaboration and social responsibility will continue to grow, so that progress in the technology and digital asset industry goes hand in hand with efforts to improve public welfare in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

The series of activities took place from 21-27 February 2026 at several locations across Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), targeting elderly residents, underprivileged groups, and mosques in need of support. The social programme is a collaboration between Indodax, Ayobantu, and Sekolah Relawan.

During the event, various learning support facilities were distributed, including school bags, bookshelves, children’s book packages, folding study desks, seating mats, and portable whiteboards. In addition, 100 school supply packages were handed out to support educational access and digital literacy for out-of-school children.

“Through this simple step, we want to share benefits by supporting educational access for children in need and helping underprivileged elderly people meet their needs during the fasting month. We hope our presence can bring them happiness,” Antony said.
