PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to supporting the growth and development of Indonesian children by providing quality education for future generations. Kitty Andhora, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that through various community involvement and development (CID) programmes, the company focuses on education, character strengthening, and improving the quality of learning environments.

This commitment is realised through various initiatives within the company’s operational areas, including the Coastal Children’s House (RASI) programme in Bitung, North Sulawesi, and the TEBAR 4.0 (Tanam Energi Barokah) programme in Cilacap, Central Java. In Bitung, the Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, through the Bitung Integrated Terminal, developed RASI as a non-formal educational space that provides learning experiences closely connected to the lives of coastal children. Using a creative and contextual learning approach, the programme encourages children to recognise their potential, foster positive character, and increase environmental awareness.

Chika, a driver of the RASI House, noted that through the Rumah Cinta Kasih initiative, the goal is for every child to experience equal rights to education, love, and affection. Since its implementation in 2023, the RASI programme has reached over 145 children as direct or indirect beneficiaries in the Candi Settlement area of Bitung. Over its two-year duration, the programme has consistently delivered more than 20 educational and character development activities, including Coastal Children’s Festivals, coastal preservation missions, local tutor capacity building, and various craft activities.

In Cilacap, Central Java, the company’s commitment to education is demonstrated through the actions of the Pertamina Peduli Volunteers (Relpi) at the Pertamina Patra Niaga Cilacap Fuel Terminal via the TEBAR 4.0 Programme. Through donations collected from employees and the wider Pertamina family, Relpi distributed educational assistance worth over Rp10 million to SD Negeri Bojong 03 in the Kawunganten District. The assistance, which included whiteboards, printers, bins, and school stationery packages, is expected to support the creation of a comfortable and high-quality learning environment.
