How Much Will the Raya 2026 Bonus Be for Gojek and Grab Driver Partners
Two Indonesian ride-hailing companies, Gojek and Grab, will provide the Raya Holiday Bonus (BHR) 2026 to hundreds of thousands of their driver partners in the near future. BHR differs from the Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR) government-mandated for formal sector workers. The scheme is aligned with the flexible, partnership model characteristic of the gig economy. The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Airlangga Hartarto, said the BHR 2026 programme is in line with the directives of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, previously conveyed through cross-ministerial coordination. “In 2026, the BHR will reach around 850,000 driver partners, with a total allocation of Rp 220 billion,” Airlangga added. The BHR amounts awarded by Gojek and Grab themselves vary, with the highest figure reaching Rp 1.6 million, depending on productivity levels and partner category. Full details can be seen below. The GoTo parent company, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), has raised its BHR 2026 budget to around Rp 100 billion - 110 billion, or more than double the figure from last year which hovered around Rp 50 billion. This year, around 400,000 GoJek driver partners using two- and four-wheeled services will receive the BHR. The breakdown of BHR amounts from GoTo is as follows: For the lowest category, the BHR amount has risen three to four times compared with last year, from Rp 50,000 to Rp 150,000 (two-wheel) and Rp 200,000 (four-wheel). The allocation of recipients and the amounts of the BHR for 2026 for each partner are determined based on several criteria, including: recipients will be divided into Mitra Juara (Champion Partner), Mitra Andalan (Reliable Partner), and Mitra Harapan (Hope Partner), with several subcategories based on the consistency of performance over the past 12 months. “Through the BHR, we want to recognise the contributions of driver partners over the past year in maintaining high service standards for customers, while also ensuring the company’s long-term sustainability,” said GoTo Chief Executive Officer Hans Patuwo on the official GoTo blog.
