How Much is the Salary of Presidential Advisory Council Members?

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) on Friday (2/10/2026). The appointment of the council members is based on Presidential Decree Number 107P of 2026 concerning the Appointment of Membership for the Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia.

At least 26 individuals were inaugurated as members of Wantimpres. Notable appointees include Pratikno as the Chairman of Wantimpres, Hatta Rajasa as the Vice Chairman, and Rocky Gerung.

Following the inauguration of these 26 members by President Prabowo, the public has become curious regarding the salaries they will receive. So, what is the amount?

The provision of salaries to Wantimpres members is regulated under Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 2026 concerning Financial Rights and Other Facilities for the Chairman and Members of the Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia. Article 2 of this Presidential Regulation states that the Chairman and Members of the Presidential Advisory Council are granted financial rights and other facilities.

It is further explained in Article 3, paragraph 1, that financial rights for the Chairman and Members of the Presidential Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia are provided every month. The amount of the financial rights referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) is Rp76,500,000.

“The financial rights as referred to in Article 3 are provided starting from the date the Chairman and Members of the Presidential Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia are inaugurated and/or commence their duties,” states Article 5.

Meanwhile, referring to Article 6 of the Presidential Regulation, the Chairman and Members of Wantimpres will also receive other facilities equivalent to those provided to ministers, in accordance with statutory provisions.

“The provision of financial rights and other facilities for the Chairman and Members of the Presidential Advisory and Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia is sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) within the budget section of the ministry responsible for government affairs in the field of the state secretariat,” states Article 8 of Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 2026.
