How Mekari Simplifies Company Management of Thousands of Unified PPh Withholding Slips in an Integrated Manner
Jakarta, VIVA – Mekari Klikpajak, the official partner of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), continues to strengthen its commitment to accelerating tax digitalisation in Indonesia. One of its initiatives is the e-Bupot Unifikasi service, which helps companies shift from manual tax administration processes to a more efficient, accurate digital system that complies with the latest tax regulations.
As the complexity of tax administration and business transaction volumes increase, companies are compelled to adopt systems capable of integrating all tax processes efficiently and accurately. This situation drives the need for digital solutions that not only simplify tax management but also ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
“We see that companies’ needs for an integrated tax system are increasingly growing. Through the integration of Mekari Talenta and Mekari Klikpajak, we help companies manage their tax obligations more automatically and connected,” said Stevens Jethefer, Head of Business at Mekari, as quoted from his statement on Sunday, 28 April 2026.
This transformation is becoming increasingly relevant amid the rising complexity of tax management, particularly in the creation and reporting of PPh withholding slips, which have now been simplified through the Unified PPh scheme and the implementation of Coretax.
Unified PPh is a mechanism that integrates several types of taxes, such as PPh Article 4 paragraph (2), PPh 15, PPh 22, PPh 23, and PPh 26 (non-employees), into a single reporting system via e-Bupot Unifikasi. This simplification aims to make it easier for taxpayers to manage their tax obligations in a more structured and integrated manner.
“Mekari Klikpajak is committed to building a transparent, efficient, and easily accessible digital tax ecosystem for business actors, so they can focus on business growth without being burdened by the complexity of tax administration,” he added.
However, on the other hand, high transaction volumes, especially in large-scale companies, make the management of withholding slips a particular challenge if still done manually.
Based on internal data from Mekari Klikpajak for the 2022-2024 period, the use of e-Bupot Unifikasi shows an increasing trend with an average of 4,299 unified PPh slips each year, with high activity volumes throughout the year averaging more than 1,000 slips per month, and experiencing a surge in the management of unified PPh slips in December, rising 33.5% to 1,335 slips compared to other months.
