How Generali Plans to Attract More Corporate and Young Clients

President Director and CEO of Generali Indonesia, Rebecca Tan, expressed optimism about the prospects for the life insurance industry in Indonesia, citing the large market potential and still-low insurance penetration. Generali Indonesia currently serves a majority of family clients, but is innovating its product range to also target young workers, tailoring offerings to their specific protection needs. Tan, who is the first woman to lead Generali Indonesia, is also pushing for a greater role for female leaders within the life insurance industry. The company’s growth strategy focuses on increasing the scale of its services and enhancing the competency of human resources, including its agents, to fulfil its mission of providing better customer service.
