How Bridgestone Maintains Harmony and Synergy
JAKARTA - PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia (Bridgestone Indonesia) has conducted the signing ceremony for the XVI Collective Work Agreement (PKB) for the period 2026-2028 with the Workers’ Union. This signing of the XVI PKB serves as a tangible manifestation of the company’s sustainable commitment to maintaining harmony and synergy in industrial relations. Present at the ceremony, the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that overall, his side wants industrial relations to level up, not only harmonious but also proactive and transformative, where workers and the company share a common vision to increase competitiveness. Meanwhile, Bridgestone Indonesia’s President Director Mukiat Sutikno said that his side not only meets domestic market needs but also records proud export achievements. According to Mukiat, tyre products from the factory in Indonesia have been exported to more than 70 countries, including countries with high standards such as the United States, Australia, to the country of origin of Bridgestone, namely Japan. Mukiat explained that the achievements and competitive advantages in the export market are inseparable from the company’s main operational focus guided by SEQCD, namely Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
