Houthis Bombard Saudi Aramco in Jizan and Yanbu

Yemen’s Houthi militant group claimed on Saturday (25/7/2026) that it had attacked Aramco oil facilities in Jizan and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. According to a report by The National, the attack followed the bombardment of the Hodeidah port by the Saudi-led coalition on Friday. Houthi spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree described the strike on Hodeidah as a Saudi attempt to continue the blockade against the Yemeni people and a violation of Yemeni sovereignty. He vowed that the Houthis would respond to escalation with escalation. Saudi Arabia has yet to confirm the Houthi claim of bombing Aramco. Nevertheless, emergency warnings were issued in Jizan and Yanbu on Saturday morning.
