House of Representatives Receives Labour Representatives to Discuss Manpower Bill
The leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR), together with Commission IX and the Legislation Body (Baleg), received labour representatives to obtain input regarding the deliberation of the Manpower Bill (RUU Ketenagakerjaan). The audience was held at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday. Among those leading the meeting were House Deputy Speakers Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, and Saan Mustopa, alongside Chairman of the Legislation Body Bob Hasan, Deputy Chairman of the Legislation Body Iman Sukri, and Deputy Chairwoman of Commission IX Putih Sari. Labour representatives in attendance included Minister of Environment and Chairman of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers’ Unions (KSPSI) Jumhur Hidayat, Chairwoman of the Confederation of the Indonesian People’s Workers (KRPI) and DPR member Rieke Diah Pitaloka, and President of the Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KSPI) Said Iqbal.
